Korea stock market holidays 2027

The Korea Exchange (KRX), which runs the KOSPI and KOSDAQ markets, is closed on 16 weekdays in 2027. Korean holidays follow the lunar calendar for Seollal and Chuseok, and substitute holidays move to the next weekday when a holiday falls on a weekend, so the dates change every year. Seoul is 13 to 14 hours ahead of New York, so a Korean holiday usually starts on the previous evening in US time zones.
